Content publication consent

Last updated 17 September 2026

What you agree to when you submit a private report for publication.

Your walkthroughs stay private unless you deliberately submit them to the community. This page describes exactly what happens when you do.

What you are consenting to

  • CribCheck reviewers may read your report and photographs to assess it.
  • If approved, the condition findings, scores, risk levels and cost bands may appear on a public property page.
  • Only the photographs cleared during review are published. Anything marked sensitive stays private.
  • You choose the address visibility: full address, street only, or area only.

What is never published

  • Your name, email address or phone number.
  • Your private notes, unless you moved them into the public summary.
  • Photographs containing people, documents or identifying detail.

Withdrawing

You can withdraw a submission any time before it is published. After publication you can ask us to unpublish it, and we will remove the public page. Aggregated, anonymised area statistics may remain, because they cannot be traced back to you or to one property.
