We provide a guided walkthrough you complete yourself, paid professional inspections carried out by CribCheck, and a public record of properties that have been checked and approved for publication. By creating an account or using the platform you accept these terms.
What we provide
- A guided walkthrough that helps you observe and record the condition of a property.
- A CribReport summarising what you recorded, with risks, cost bands and next steps.
- Paid professional inspections booked from CribCheck, where CribCheck assigns and remains responsible for the professional who attends.
- Public property records built only from submissions that have been reviewed and approved.
What we do not provide
- We are not a legal, structural, engineering, valuation or medical adviser.
- We do not confirm ownership, title or the right of any person to let or sell a property.
- We do not act as an agent, landlord, broker or escrow service in any transaction.
- Cost figures are estimate bands for planning. They are not quotations.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information and only record properties you are lawfully visiting.
- Get permission before photographing a property, and never photograph people without consent.
- Keep your login details private and tell us if you think your account has been used by someone else.
- Do not scrape, resell or republish CribCheck content without written permission.
Accounts and suspension
We may suspend or close an account that submits false information, breaches the community guidelines, abuses other users or staff, or attempts to interfere with the platform. Where the breach is minor we will normally ask for a correction first.
Liability
Decisions about renting, buying or repairing a property remain yours. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, our liability for any claim connected to the free walkthrough is limited to nothing paid, and for a paid inspection is limited to the fee you paid for that inspection.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the platform grows and will show the date of the latest version on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
